Comfrey, Symphytum Officinale (common comfrey) is sterile, spread by root not seed.

Comfrey is the gardeners friend. It is a deep rooted plant that draws the minerals from deep in the soil.

Interesting facts
Pick  some of the leaves off and make a “tea” with it, leaving it for about 2-3 weeks.
Use the diluted “tea” to water or fertilize the plants in the garden.
It also goes well in the compost bin.
A good fresh stock food.
