Snake Bean

Snake Bean is an interesting type of bean which grows to about a metre long. They are commonly used for stir fries, or served in Asian side dishes. Snake beans are fat and cholesterol free, they are low in sodium, and rich in iron, fibre, potassium and zinc.

Interesting facts
The shaer length of these beans is interesting – a good addition to a stirfry or salad

Make sure you pick them when they are about 50-70 cm long or they can be a bit “woody”
