Library
We are particularly proud of our fully staffed and computerised Library. All students visit the Library regularly.
Special Needs
Children with special learning needs are identified very early and given programmes appropriate to their need. This may involve individual or small group assistance. Limited funding is received from the Ministry to support these programmes.
Enrichment Programmes:
We run a number of extension programmes, across the school, to cater for the students who show talent in various curriculum areas. As well as in-class extension, withdrawal programmes are organised to cater for special ability students.
English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL):
Students who are non English speaking receive extra support within the classroom setting and through specialist small group instruction. This assists with their English language acquisition. Click on the link below to see what our students have been up to:
Music, Dance and Drama:
We employ specialist teachers who deliver amazing programmes in Music, and Dance & Drama.
Life Choices Programme:
This programme for Year 5 and 6 classes is taught by volunteer teachers following the official Churches in Schools programme for 30 minutes per week. Parents, need to complete a permission form if they wish their child to participate.
Special Junior School Programmes
Perceptual Motor Programme
A programme for Year 1 and Year 2 students aimed at improving their co-ordination.
Quick 60
Quick 60 is a prevention/intervention programme designed for small groups of students who need extra support in reading and spelling.
